Useful Tips

All these tips below are designed to help you so please read carefully

- Remember when digging out soil or concrete they never go back the same so bear in mind when ordering the size of your skip

- Please DO NOT move a skip once placed by the driver, it could cause difficulties or damage when collected

- Always allow plenty of width for access when having a skip delivered. These are heavy goods vehicles not cars

- If having a skip placed on or down your driveway great thought should be taken as to possible dangers that could arise, Overhanging Trees, Telephone Wires, Manhole Covers, Satellite Dishes, Water Pipes. Remember also: Will your drive stand the weight of the lorry and or its contents ???

- If you don’t have a driveway or its too small then you will have to have a skip placed on the highway. Check out the details Click here as you may have to have a council permit

- Do remember to make sure you have cleared the space where the skip is going to be placed on the drive or that cars are not blocking the public highway where the skip is to be placed

- If you require more than one skip a day, for example if you have a digger on site please let our staff know when booking it and an approximate time you may need exchanges so your not stood around waiting. Also remember to call for the collection when a skip is full, or it could sit there
