Recycling facilities and what we recycle
Hammond Skip Hire play a major role in recycling and helping the environment. All our waste comes to our transfer station in Coventry and goes over a weigh bridge so we can log all waste coming and going from our site and calculate how much waste we recycle, which is 94-95 % at this current time.
Once weighed, the waste is then segregated into areas and separated into its recyclable uses and only when we have no more re-useable materials left will the small remainder be loaded and transported to landfill. All our recycled material then goes off to be used not just in the UK but world wide, from animal bedding , to charities, bark chippings, crushed concrete.
